"Screenprinted using eco-friendly, water-based inks on black, dark brown or sand coloured oilskin. Oilskin is a cotton canvas fabric that is saturated in a light coating of wax. This means that the fabric is waterproof, very strong and it also develops a nice patina over time. Whilst these patches are washable, I’d advise against sewing them onto clothes that go into the washing machine; the wax can leech out of the fabric at high heats and stain other items in the wash. Instead, a cold hand-wash is recommended."
